Mike Wu, Senior Associate and Senior Art Director at Axiom, recently reached his 10-year anniversary with the firm. Mike began his career at Axiom in 2002 as an intern after graduating from the University of Texas in Austin with a Psychology major and Business minor. Concurrent to his internship, Mike studied Graphic Design at the Art Institute of Houston.
In 2004, upon completion of his internship and his graduation from the Art Institute, Mike accepted a full-time position at Axiom as a Graphic Designer/Art Director. During his tenure at Axiom, Mike has created an impressive body of work. From concept to completion this diverse array includes brand identity, advertising campaigns, integrated marketing programs, complex interactive multimedias, animation/videos, websites and more.
Mike’s creative has been awarded the highest honors from such prestigious industry organizations as the American Marketing Association, the Business Marketing Association, the American Advertising Federation and the Art Directors Club.
In addition to Mike, 3 other Axiomites have tenures of over 10 years: Tom Hair, President; David Lerch, Senior Associate and Creative Director; and John Duplechin, Multimedia Manager. Laura Paddock will be the next to celebrate the big 10-year milestone in October 2014.
