Results-driven Work Earns Axiom 37 Finalists for the 2014 AMA Crystal Awards

Axiom's broad expertise across brand strategy and creative communications garnered 37 juried finalists in 23 categories for the Houston chapter of the American Marketing Association's (AMA) 2014 Crystal Awards, more than twice as many as any other finalist. Axiom's capabilities in fully integrated campaigns, branding, digital initiatives and print were recognized for their effectiveness in achieving measurable results for clients.

Of particular note was Cameron's Surface Systems Multitouch Wall, which included strategy, content and advanced programming utilizing an emerging technology. In addition, all finalists chosen within the animation category were created by Axiom.

The Crystal Awards are judged based on a project's situation/challenge, objectives, implemented strategy, message alignment and results. The entries are heavily weighted on how effective the project/program was in producing measurable results that tie to the stated objectives.

The Houston Business Marketing Association is another organization that evaluates creative by its effectiveness in achieving measurable results. In November 2013, Axiom was named Agency of the Year by the Houston Business Marketing Association and received 13 Best of Category Lantern awards.

AMA Houston is the area's premier professional marketing organization and currently the nation’s largest chapter. One of the largest professional associations for marketers, the American Marketing Association has more than 38,000 members worldwide in every area of marketing.

The 2014 AMA Houston Crystal Awards will be held Thursday, May 29th at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Houston.
