Axiom is pleased to announce that John Luu, Art Director and Digital Marketer at Axiom, has been selected by AIGA, the professional association for design, to serve on their National Board of Directors. Launched in 1914 as the American Institute of Graphics Arts, AIGA has over 25,000 members throughout its 66 chapters nationwide. Prior to accepting a position on the national board, John served as Director of Chapter Development for AIGA Houston for 1 year and as its Communications Director for over 4 years.
The AIGA nominating committee slated 5 members for AIGA's national board based on nominations from AIGA members, chapter leadership and design opinion leaders. The 5 newly appointed board members will join the 11 members of the board who are still serving their 3-year terms. It is highly prestigious to be selected to serve, and John Luu makes the third Houstonian ever to have the privilege.

And I'm looking forward to connecting with, and contributing to, a much broader creative community.
